Starts then stalls 5.4

K…14 expedition 5.4 151000… k,starts up boom runs stalls after minute. Try again won’t idle barley ran. I start again help it idle runs fine…started few times that day fine. Been idling ALOT last 5 weeks at train station waiting.ran on about 5 miles left but city within 6 miles. College runs for kid. Latlely truck been doing this….3 times last 2 weeks make it 4 yesterday wete it gaged a little till I helped. TODAY…I did key turn four times waited 5th,started idled fine…….lets see tomorrow morning or 6 hrs later today…….what you think peps? TXS IN ADVANCE

Sounds like a vacuum leak.

Any check engine lights? If you scan it, do any codes show up?

I had a similar issue when my idle control solenoid passages got plugged up. I bought a new idle control solenoid and saw carbon build up when I removed the old one. I cleaned the passage in the throttle body with carb cleaner and everything went back to normal.
