Anyone else annoyed by the mirror taking up space in the overhead console sunglasses holder? My wife can’t put her Oakley sunglasses in the holder because there isn’t enough space. My ‘18 F-150 Platinum fits her glasses fine.

Can I simply pry hers out of the console and replace it with one from a truck? Asking for a friend (the wife), see what I did there :secret:.

Yes it sucks..

However, my Oakley Hollbrooks fit in there.

Both my Oakley Flak Jacket and Flak 2.0's fit -- lenses face downward and top towards the front of the car.

Which Oakleys does she have?

I was actually going to complain about the sunglass holder as well. I hate that it can't hold many of my wrap around sunglasses from Costa Del Mar and Maui Jim. Just needed to be a tiny bit larger. Seems like it should fit them for a large "recreational" vehicle.

I do find the little mirror pointless as well, since I don't have kids, and it is a puzzle whenever I put my Oakley Badman glasses in it. Haven't tried my Juliets or Penny's

We haul our grandkids in the third row, and the image in that mirror is too small for me to see any detail w/o taking eyes off road for too long...maybe it's just my old eyes, but I tried it once and never again.

I love the little flip down mirror so I can see the kids without moving the rear view mirror. I never use the sunglasses storage compartment, my glasses will fit but I’m not putting $200 glasses in there, they came with a fancy case that fits perfectly in the small cubby below the console.

My Maui Jim's fit in the holder. I have to put the ear pieces in first with the lens toward the back of the truck.

Ditto. I can keep track of the minions pounding on each other, plus I wouldn't put my prescription Ray Bans in that thing. "Case to the face & face to the case".

I use it for my prescription sun glasses, works fine. I also like the mirror as I can keep an eye on the grandkids when we fill up the truck.

My 07 is the same way. Wont fit my ESS ice without getting stuck. Im thinking of going to junkyard and ripping the whole thing out of another 3rd gen and seeing if I can make the 2 compartments work as 1.

The flip down mirror by the sunglasses, as well as the sun visor mirrors, are comically small. At least the visor mirrors have decent lights.

I haul venomous snakes in back. They are in proper cages, but just in case, I love that little mirror to keep tabs nothing crawling where it shouldn't be. Also appreciate the little flip glove box about the main glove box, I keep an anti-venom kit there.

What you haul is tied for the weirdest along with @Deadman... he hauls bodies.
