What are the recommendations for when to change the transmission fluid?

Really depends on which transmission you have and whether you tow or not. If you have a newer truck with a 6R80 and you never tow I would recommend 100k miles with a filter change. If you have a 10 speed I will let the guys with the newer models respond.
I have a 4R75 in my Expedition and will tow often. I will service every 30k miles.
I have a 4R100 in my Older Navigator and will never tow but I need to remove it to repair 2nd gear engine braking. It will get a refresh while out and then 50k mile services.
