Turn signal/radio problem

I have a 1998 Expedition XLT 4.6 4x4. Whenever I use my turn signal it shorts out my radio and until it decides all by iteself to start working again, my radio and turn signal will not work. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with this?

Your radio and the mfs both share the same ground point. It is located behind the passenger kick panel and may be labeled G200. The circuits are protected by different fuses and isolated from each other, only thing common is the ground. Eliminate a ground problem first.
