I rented an Explorer once for 2 weeks, then rented an Expedition for 2 weeks right after that. I did some camping, light off road stuff. It was in 1997, things are probably different now. The Explorer was a joke compared to the Expy. The Explorer was just a car jacked up in the air IMHO. Came home and bought my first Expo. The Expy was a TRUCK! No offense to Explorer owners, I'm sure its great for certain people and applications.
