Since the MY20 doesn't have a CD player (I still use them occasionally, yes, I'm old, sue me), I was thinking of ripping all my CDs and putting them on a USB drive. Then I'd plug it into the USB slot and using it as media server of sorts. Has anyone done this? If so, does it work well?
My two biggest challenges/issues would be using only USB power and heat. I live in the desert and leaving it in the car long term might be a challenge. Anyone done this and had suggestions?
I've tried a search, but couldn't seem to get anything to come up.
Edit: I know they make those jump drives, which I used for MP3s in my old vehicle. Hmmm, they seem to make those much bigger than I remember. Looks like I may be able to get up to 512 GB.
