My expy gets the wandwash treatment. It sits 3.5 weeks outside
I've never found a pressure wash or drive through of any type gets my Expy clean.
I will pretty much only wash by hand with a towel. I need the exercise anyway.

Hey that works! I'm just a Stickler with that 2014.
My 2003 I dont wash period. Haven't washed in years (really). Inside or out. Beater. Hit it on the inside with a leaf blower once a year. The 2014 I practically lick clean.

How's the TRUCKER world right now? Roads empty & easier? Able to get the services you need ... like food? All take-out? Do you sleep in truck or can you get hotels? Are people weirding out that yo're not stuck in your house like us schmoes? Do you wear gloves, wash your hands & use sanitizer all day long? Anything interesting to report about what you see? Can you exceed the speed limit cause no Trooper would pull you over? Are Truckers going bankrupt now too or is business OK? My neighbor delivers locally and he works every day.

I assume you're out Trucking, keeping the wheels of commerce moving. Thanks!

Trucking is definitely different. Interstates are bare very little traffic. I know I'm doing well for the time being. It is getting slightly more difficult to find hot food but I cook in my rig or at least try too. But the meals are getting repetitive.

I dont wear gloves only to fuel. I've always washed my hands every opportunity I got.

I normally stay in the rig for 8 weeks, so this isn't anything really different to me.

I replaced the valve cover gasket on the passenger side.

I removed many pounds of the A/C system since I don't use it anyways, same with the window washing resivour.

I had to take the battery out to make room for tools and hands so I cleaned up all the contact points with sandpaper and added a little dielectric grease to prevent corrosion.

There are a couple coolent hoses in the way of the valve cover that dumped about a gallon when I disconnected them, good thing the coolent resivour is huge.

What's up with the power steering resivour being bolted to the thermostat housing? These designers seem to love sticking stuff to other stuff...

I also installed the glass on the drivers side window, the previous owner had broken it because the connection between the lock and latch broke (no surprise, it's made of plastic) and the only door with a keyhole is the drivers door. I know they could have climbed in through the hatch but that lock also doesn't work from the outside...

I did the first oil change on my '10 since I've owned it. I bought it back in November and just this past week, it crossed the 5K mile mark since then. It was pretty easy to do; lots of clearance underneath...especially compared to my Mustang GT that I have to use RaceRamps for just to get underneath it.

When I initially looked underneath the Expy, I noticed a little "chute" below the oil filter and going down in front of the crossmember. I thought that was neat at first, thinking the oil from the filter would drain down that chute and I could put my pan under that. Then I cracked the filter loose...nope. Just dumped straight down onto the driveway! LOL. I slid my catch pan under it quick and now I know better. I'm not crazy about the proximity of the filter to the belt and that lower radiator hose, but oh well. Didn't mess either one up so I just need to be mindful of those.

And an interesting location for the oil pan drain plug...on the rear. So far, I've only seen the drain plugs on the sides of the pan. I ended up crawling underneath from the passenger side to crack that free and all was good afterwards. I also like that it's the same size as my Mustang's drain plug.

The one bad thing out of today's oil changes: found out my catch pan has a hole in the bottom corner.

Looks like you detailed her up nice. Good work.

Reminds me of the time I put Armor All on my motorcycle seat.
THAT was NOT a good thing to do.
