I've got the stock 275/65-R18 8.5 wide, on my 2019 Exp. Max.
The stock wheels have 44mm offset.

Looking at buying 275/55-R20 9.0 wide, with a 18mm offset.

Has anyone done this or does anyone know if it is a must to keep the 8.5 width on the wheels
and keep the offset similar to OEM.

Just don't won't to put on something which will potentially scrape the fender.

Thanks for input.

With that rim, you are going have more clearance on the inside and push the whole tire/wheel out a little over 1.25 inches. Going from an 8.5 to 9 inch wide rim will not be the big difference maker.

The tire size you have listed for the new rim is shorter than the stock size you have listed. Was that a typo?

1BDC1D21-1C36-4379-9B5B-A7A0A32B0F10.jpeg You should be good. I went with 22x9.5 with a 30mm offset and 305/45R22 tires. No rubbing or alterations had to be done to the vehicle.

you can go to tiresize.com and compare the two tire sizes and see the difference.

You have any more pics of your setup showing how flush it is with fender? Thanks!

To tag along with this; got my hands on a set of '08 Saleen F150 wheels.

23"x10"
Front +44
Rear +30
305/40

Anyone have an idea about my front end, whether or not I will have any rubbing issues?

Just got the new wheels and tires. Went with Cooper AT3 4S 275/55-R20 117T XL,
+18 offsets.

This set-up added 1” on each side of previous tire wall, so a 2” wider stands.
Hopefully this will be good.

Are they winter rated all weather?
I got the new Toyo AT3 on my Lariat in 22" and they are rated for 50,000 mile treadlife and severe weather rated.
