I'm pretty sure there are differences in them. Especially when you're into the different motors. What specifically I dont know but when my father in law looked for one for their 03 the first time it required a bit of time to find the exact part #. There were a few different ones.

The expedition fuse panel has bad contacts. There's a guy on ebay that you can send it to and he will fix it. As a rule, they are not interchangeable between years. Now if you have a wiring manual for both years in front and you can match the pinouts to all the same circuits you can take that risk. I wouldn't unless i could check that they are the same. Don't take some idiot's "saying so" on the internet unless you can verify it.

Here is his eBay store, the service is $60 and you pay to ship him the fuse panel. I helped my neighbor out with his this way. Really good service.

Definitely different fuseboxes between the '04 and the '06. The '06 fusebox will not even have the fuel pump relay in it that you need for the '04 to run.

If you want a new one for the '04 they're still available. There are two versions. One for Expy's with heated/cooled seats, and another version for Expy's without the heated seats.

Yep. I could tell you a 2006 fuse panel would work on a your 2004, but who are you going to complain to when it catches fire? [emoji848][emoji91]

Now, i could be malicious and produce some official looking diagrams and schematic to make it look like it would work, but that's less likely.

I'd go to fordpartsgiant and get the replacement for the year. When I get a few bucks I'll do the same.

I actually plan of picking up some parts before they are needed - before they are more difficult/more costly to obtain. To start I plan on getting some OEM aluminum wheels from a salvage yard - about $30 bucks. And the leather covered center console armrest. Those wear - but mine looks nice. Probably another $30. Cheap 'insurance'.

Token complicated schematic, actually a schematic for biologic/metabolic processes of a single human cell. It gives me a headache. In perspective, we are a complicated machine.

Just try swapping the bad relay. You may get lucky.

I had problems with my fuse block .The fuel pump went out and I the process of doing that it burned up the FPR so I need the car to drive I acquired a used fuse panel and sent mine to the guy on Ebay to be fixed .The installed a new relay and also found something else was wrong and fixed that and soldered several connections very quick turn around and they fixed it.I just wanted to jump in and let you know they are legit and do a good job.

Every fuse box panel is different for the second Gens! 2003 to 2006! They are not interchangeable! Also the 03' has an early built and late built fuse box so always make sure to check you manufacturing date in the driver door before ordering a new one!

I purchased a flooded 2004 Lincoln Navigator. The fuse box has major corrosion. At the pull a part, they had a 2006 Navigator with a fuse box. I installed the 2006 fuse box in the 2004. No issues that I have identified.
