Hi, I'm a newby with a 2004 Expedition with 150k miles on it. Seems like the shocks are getting bad, are they the expensive struts or plain shocks and are they hard to replace (costly)?
Thanks for your help

Struts. Not easy to replace without a good spring compressor and patience since you have to remove tie rod bolts and upper control arm bolts to get the whole strut out (front and rear).

well if you have any mechanical knowledge is fairly simple to do yourself. Just takes some patience and some rented tools and 8 hrs tops.
