Thanks for the replies and the great info. My truck doesn't have mud flaps so those at least wont be an issue. I checked out the calculator and 305/70/16's are about the same size as 285/70 17's....so its good to know Rwinch has no trouble. For that reason I will be going with one of the 2 depending which rims I use. I'll decide that when I see them in person.

I ordered a new set of Rancho 5000's ($155 free shipping), and am putting them on and aligning the truck after I get the tires after Xmas. The worst part of this whole thing...is the RT/S still probably have at least 2/3 of their tread. On the good side, the alignment and balance etc..wont cost me.

I'm playing around with photochop again. Here are some of my other choices for rims. I think I can sell the ones pictured at the top for about what I have into them if I dont like them. What do you all think about these?

Can I put the 315/70/17 on my '03 EB. It looks like the pics are of a 4x4. I know that they are lifted already right?? What size do you think would fit on the EB 2x4 with out the lift. I am wondering becuase I have about 4 inches of clearance to get the ride into the garage and If I put tires and wheels on it,,, Well then it won't fit and the wife will be upset.

Can't have that now can we!!!!

Yes its a 4x4. 315/70/15's are 35's. If I am correct you would need at least a 4" suspension lift to fit them under a 4x4 expedition, without cutting. Not sure what it would take to get them on a 2x.

Rwinch--These are all Eagle Alloys.
