I'm very close (as in later today) to pulling the trigger on a '19 Limited 4WD. Out the door price including all fees but excluding tax is $65K even vs $73.6K MSRP and $70.7K invoice (basically $5.7K below invoice, which includes about $4.7K of advertised Ford incentives/rebates).

By my math, I'm guessing the dealer is getting about $2.2K in holdback from Ford (3% of MSRP), of which I'm getting about $1K, leaving the dealer with about $1.2K in profit. While normally I would negotiate for more, I've read that the vast majority of dealers are extremely reluctant to give up holdback $s and this is the only remaining Expedition in my area in the color/option combo I want.

FWIW, i drive about 18-20K miles per year, and plan on having this car for 8+ years (the new Expy is replacing my '12 Limited 4WD with 150K miles).

I welcome any feedback before I head to the dealer!

Its last day of the year on a 19? Id look at another dealer or ask for more. Some ppl on here are getting well over 10k off msrp, with 20s already on the lot and it being the 31st, 63k would b my starting point honestly.

The percentage off sticker is what matters more than the total amount you got off it.

$10k off a $75k vehicle is much less than $10k off a $55k vehicle.

I’ve had an impossible time even getting 10% off a navigator but they seem much more competitive with expys.

Some have said they’ve gotten up to 25% off so you may want to throw and outlandish number out there and tell them if they get close you’ll be there this afternoon to do the deal.

Good luck.

Good thing your not Raptor shopping. Most dealers sell Raptors for OVER the MSRP. 60k truck MSRP will be sold for 65k. Luxury and special vehicles are tough.

I paid $16K less than window sticker on my 18 Limited 302A Max 4x4 in April of 19.
