retrofitting head lights

what are you having done , leds ccfls, projectors?

I put two 55 watt driving lights dead center of my truck. They come on with the parking lights. Then i added 80/100 watt h7 bulbs with high temp plugs.
So low beams equal 270 watts and high beams have 310 watts. The results are great and i spent 45 bucks. No flashing lights from on-coming traffic. No glare.

Next step is a set of blacked out euro style headlamps.

keep your old 55/60 bulbs for inspectors. swap out as needed.

i was wondering where you were going with all of that...you added lights and changed bulbs...my head lamps are being reconstructed...with LEDs and CCFLs

im getting my headlights retrofitted with projectors...they will have angel eyes and LEDs mimicking the audi R8...most get the LEDs at the bottom of the lights...mine will be at the top.

so instead of the ebay projector headlights with the angel eyes that barely light up....

i think i might do that when i buy my new head lights. #5! haha maybe! maybe not. the lights cost enough i dont think i will do that. but i always liked the look of the leds though!

What projectors are they putting in there? You're doing quad projector set up?

Did the prelude have FTP halogen high beams? If it was just bi-xenon projectors in there, the HIDs don't usually warm up fast enough to be really used as FTP lights.

i dont know the details about the prelude i saw...as of right now those are the projectors...he told me the name and names/styles of other that i can switch to...same guy who did lights on the link you sent

what projectors do you suggest?

Flash to pass (pulling back on the high beam lever).

As I said before, there are better projectors. FX-R (bixenon, 2.5" diameter), TL (bi-xenon, 3.0"). There's also E-55s for a cheaper solution. But, as I said, I'd just stick to what you're getting. The other guy seems to be happy with his, plus, I'm sure the cheaper projectors are what is keeping the price down.
