2012 Exp EL Base Model Suspension Problems
I would suggest you get used to the shocks leaking. It has also been a problem on my 2012. Both fronts and one rear so far. My dealer performed alignment each time the fronts were replaced. knocking/ticking coming from steering column?

Update. So Tomball Ford apparently found the source of the noise. Turns out it was not in the dash but in the floor. It seems my kids dropped cereal of a piece of candy and it made its way I'm the floor heat duct under the drivers seat. Had it back a couple of days and no noise so far. Sent...- 03dblcabtaco

I have removed the defrost grille and cluster surround and have not been able to locate the exact source yet. I have even looked in the ac ducts with a scope and have not seen anything.
