When I did my plugs I replaced all the COPs. Probably not necessary but the cheap ones I bought on Ebay were only a little bit more expensive than replacement boots only. I have had zero misfires with them after 48k miles. I think proper application of dielectric grease is more important than...

Go and buy this tool. I used it to do the plug change out on my '01 4.6l. I did not have to move the fuel rail at all. The job is not difficult as it is time consuming. The gearwrench...
I have been advised that I may have off set the height sensor when I reinstalled it on the replacement upper control arm. I have pulled codes C1725 and C1917 so this makes sense to me.
I also checked with Firestone regarding SAS reset on this vehicle after they did the alignment. They were...
I appreciate the insight re ambient temperatures. I did have a compressor issue once in single digit temps and wound up replacing a cooked relay. That was in February a few years back. October temperatures here in southern New England have been 70-80 degrees and the original compressor on my '01...
Did not remember posting here on this 2 years ago. Apparently there was no problem with the air ride.
Since then I have replaced most of the front end (2nd time around), bought new tires and had an alignment done on my '01. All done last August at 142k. Got a "check suspension" indicator on...
The fuel rail on my 4.6 doesn't have to move to access #8. The available space is not optimum but the plug can be maneuvered to complete the changeout.
I am very happy with this tool for plug changeouts:
Gear Wrench 5/8" x 6" Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket 80546: Advance Auto Parts
Makes...
I was thinking the same about my truck. The other day the compressor kicked on while I was sitting at a red light. Don't recall this happening before, but then again our Expy is my wife's daily driver. Hopefully it's just my imagination.
Please follow up with any update and I will do same.
I feel your pain on this one. I have had the same problem with my E350 and it is intermittent.
The problem is not with the gas station pump. You have a vent issue. Since I haven't experienced the refueling difficulty for some time now I haven't been actively researching it. Maybe some...
I wouldn't do another plug change on one of these engines again without this tool:
Gear Wrench 5/8" x 6" Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket 80546: Advance Auto Parts
I understand that a spark plug change is a bit easier on a 4.6l but still don't get what all the internet ******** over the job...
So the water leaked inside the truck? If it did then the drain is probably still clogged. You need the get the accumulating water outside.

I was able to clear the line in the Edge through a drain tube cabin connection down towards the...
Could be the condensate drain was clogged and then cleared itself. I had a blockage on a '11 Edge that caused water to slosh around behind the dash until I cleared the line. A quart or more poured out at once.
