Lifted Expeditions of EF.com (picture post)

Hey guys been a while. Working a lot now so don't do much besides sleep! Took my money from plowing this year and got myself some new rims, I decided to go with the blacked out look. I'm thinking 35's are in the future. 3/2 Readylift, 17x8.5 MB Wheels TKO, 285/70/17 Treadwright M/T

    How dark is factory tint?

20% will be your closest match to the rear windows when looking at them from the outside. From the inside you will notice a slight difference looking out.

With the mirrors on the expy I get within 6 inches of the garage no problem.

Down where I plow almost every truck I pass has one these days. Couple years ago you never saw another truck with one, I think the competition is trying to step up.

The cylinder and push arm are connected to the hitch. The blade is connected to the frame with pins to tabs welded in. From what I've seen almost all back blades are mounted in the same way.

    Which spacers are better?

I've had both and haven't noticed any differences as far as functioning. I prefer the steel ones though, no good reason why.

Not easy to get the setup on our generation. The front plow required a lot of custom work on the mount before it would fit because they don't make a mount for 2nd gen expeditions. Plus it needed a lift to keep the mount from dragging on the ground!

The box behind the expedition is the back blade. Most trucks only have a front plow and pull in with the truck facing the garage and drag the snow out backwords. With the back blade I back in to the garage door and pull everything out to the street. There is no link for the one on my...

About $200 in steel and another $300 for the pump and parts to make. Can't recommend a back blade enough! I do my 50 drives in under 4 hours because of it.

    285/70/17 on 2nd gen?

They'll fit on the rear with no lift but they will rub in the front. I would suggest atleast 2.5 spacer in the front. I was running just the 2.5 in the front and had rubbing until I went with the 3/2

    Sub box shopping list?

x2 for pre-drilling the holes first. If you don't you may split the MDF and that will just piss you off, trust me.

    Sunroof switch

My 04 has the same issue. Weird.
