Side Mirrors erratic
Shop manual says it is part of the driver seat module which is under the driver seat. If you have heated/cooled seats, it looks like it would be the larger of the 2 modules under the seat.- igozumn

That feature bugged me. Replaced the passenger motor and it helped (had other issues with it requiring replacement), but finally just turned the backup-dip off.- igozumn

KR 3rd seat does not have fold buttons
I work in parts at a Ford dealer. If you'd like to PM me your VIN, I'd run it for you and see what we can find. Or post it here if you're comfortable with that. Side note: Front 3rd row switches were eliminated after 8-3-03. I think they didn't want little fingers being able to operate/fold...- igozumn

The '01 is a completely different vehicle. '03 might, as it is mostly the same as the '05. Did you have anyone run the VIN, or run it yourself, to verify it actually is a King Ranch? Side note, the front switches for the 3rd row seat was an early build item, as they did away with them mid...- igozumn

I have seen several of those in the rose color. I was 2 days away from buying one that had been for sale for 2 months when it got sold. I've seen one or two in all black. Monochrome paint package or something. Most of the ones I've seen, had 2nd row buckets instead of the 3 way split bench...- igozumn

Cutting back and cutting off while driving
I think it's the super small pins of the relay having difficulty carrying the draw of the fuel pump. I took one apart that I got back from one of my wholesale customers and disassembled it to check it out for myself. I wanted to see if I could repair it also. Key Question
Mostly true. There have been some places (hardware stores, etc.) that are advertising the ability to "clone" a key. What it does is mimic the programming in the single key that a person may have. They end up with 2 keys that will start the vehicle, but the vehicle still thinks there is only...- igozumn

Mercon/Mercon V
Mercon V has replaced Mercon. Or, I should say, Ford replaced Mercon with Mercon V. Mercon V can be used in any application requiring regular Mercon which is no longer available from Ford.- igozumn

Door latch frozen...
A new latch from Ford is only $68 msrp. If I find myself opening up the door panel again any time soon, I'll probably just go ahead and replace it.- igozumn

I've had the same problem twice in the last week or two on my Expedition. Happened all the time (when it was freezing) with my old '88 Daytona.
