Are you buy chance running a Chinabay cold air intake? Some of the cheaper so called cold air intakes can actually cause the motor to run " Lean " but this is mainly at WOT. Gas Milage....
I just got back from a 400 mile trip to Nuevo Casas Grandes Chihuahua, Mexico. Our average speed for the trip ( Highway ) was 75 MPH ( Not KMH ) and we averaged 21.4 MPG ( Hand Calculated ) for the trip ( Highway and city driving ) the overhead display and the Edge both read an average of 21.9...- Racenut

In order to swap in the rear axle from a newer expy you would need a lot of fab work since he has a '02 with a solid rear axle and in '03 they went to the independent rear suspension. That and it would have to be '06 or newer because the TSB covers from '97-'05.- Racenut

Onboard air
This pillar is actually pretty good, the only thing is it dosn't have the factory screw locations to hold it in place the grab bar screws are in the middle of a gauge. All I did was run a single self tapping screw thru the top and it is hard to notice after painting the head to match...- Racenut

How dark is factory tint?

Air-ride pump sounds
A cheap dollar store spray bottle works really good for this as well, and agreed this is the best way to find any leaks. Don't forget to spray the bags as well to see if they are cracked or have started to dry rot.- Racenut
