I know this is an old thread i just figured out after all this and fixed my low range and 4x4 bulb check problems after looking on all data i noticed every fuse was fine but interior fuse 20 missing for 4w air suspension, gem,memory seats replaced the fuse and now i have low range thanks...- rockinrolla

I fixed it!! Have dash lights and low range found interior fuse 20 was missing and that was the problem- rockinrolla

Hello i just got a 98 Lincoln navigator about 6-7 months ago and i noticed that when i turn the keyon before starting i get all of the check lights except for the Awd,4x4 and low range light is this normal? The 4x4 hi is engaging but not low range. I am stopped already in 4hi in neutral foot on...- rockinrolla

What should i check next? Gem maybe vss but the speedometer works do the shift relays go bad? Thanks in advance- rockinrolla

Sorry everyone been out of town and have not been able to check i finally had time with alligator clips 2 hi 3080 4Awd 1505 4 hi 689 4 low 250 Still no low range how to test the brake switch? Thanks- rockinrolla

also used a scanner didn't have any codes so I pulled up the memory and found a p1812 4wd mode select circuit fail could that be a switch? I think its strange that i have to push the brake for 4 hi and A4WD- rockinrolla

it's a brand new fluke meter so it's not that is there away to bypass the switch?- rockinrolla

I did that and it gave different readings each time on each section only showed for a sec.- rockinrolla

I'm sorry I've been busy and I went out of town. The ohm readings were different every time I touched the wires, and it would only show the ohms for a second on each mode. Also I have to put it in neutral to engage 4 hi it would not engage in drive. Thanks for the help!- rockinrolla
