Question on 22" tires 2008 King Ranch

Hello All, A local dealer has a 22" wheel 2008 King Ranch for sale. Before I buy the vehicle, was 22" actually offered from the factory in 2008? Will I have trouble making tight turns? Thanks, Ted

2002 EXPEDITIONRe-installing the rear passenger door trim piece where the window switch sits.

Whtbronco, I tried the jewelers screwdrivers method, but couldn't get the, grey "wing clips" to back out gently without breaking anything. At this point, I think it is best to leave in the switch that came with the replacememt trim piece (see PHOTO 1). I will solder together the replacement...

2002 EXPEDITIONRe-installing the rear passenger door trim piece where the window switch sits.

Hello All, I thought this would be a simple replacement, but I was wrong. For reference, I include the following photos: PHOTO 1- Side by side with the broken old trim piece on the bottom. Note, all four clips that hold the trim in place in the door armrest are broken. Therefore, the trim...

2002 EXPED Rear Glass Strut Right Side

Everyone, Problem solved for $3. Hamfisted's clevis solution is the correct solution (see post #2), however, no big box, little box, or specialty bolt store near where I live carried the 5/32" diameter clevis pin WITH A GROOVE to do this repair correctly. (3/16" diameter is too big) My...

Heat Out Of 2002 Exped Vents Is Just Not Hot Enough

Hamfisted, That makes a lot of sense. I am ready to do this on my first warmer day. When I pull apart that other OUTLET hose, should I add in another flush port when I put it back together? Seems like a good time to add it. Ted

Heat Out Of 2002 Exped Vents Is Just Not Hot Enough

Hamfisted and Trainmaster, Thanks for your responses. Much appreciated. Further....from looking at my photos, can it be discerned whether the hose with the add-on flush cap is the inlet to, or outlet from, the heater core? If you can't tell, is there another way to tell inlet from outlet...

Heat Out Of 2002 Exped Vents Is Just Not Hot Enough

So, after viewing a bunch of You Tubes on flushing a heater core, I decided to bite. The thing is, in all the videos I am told to disconnect the 2 hoses going into the heater core at the cowI. In every video there are always 2 hoses, no more no less. When I open my hood, of course, things look...

2002 EXPED Rear Glass Strut Right Side

Hamfisted, Your clevis solution looks like the way for me to go. The spring pin solution looks a bit bulky. I didn't bring up the drivers side, because I have the same problem there also. Thanks for great advice.

    2002 EXPED Hood Lamp bulb

Can I assume that in the under hood photo below, the object holds my hood lamp bulb? If so, what is the best bulb to insert? You might have to zoom in on my photo. Thanks, All

2002 EXPED Rear Glass Strut Right Side

In the photo below of my rear glass in the upright position (passenger side), you can see the two holes that receive the threaded bolt which holds the gas window strut in place. Does anyone know: the length of the screw, the thread size, etc. Does a nut go on the other end? If no nut, then do...
