Help me identify this noise
Could be your brake pad squeelers, pull your wheels and check the fronts and rears, Pad thickness, inside and outside pads, it sounds like a squeeler to me.- tmajikman

I need to get an OBDII scanner, is this a good one?
Ha Ha, my SCT reads and tells me what all the codes are as well, glad I can watch all my voltages in real time and data log as well with it.- tmajikman

4 Broken plugs. WTF!!!!!!!!
Yeah, those 3V plugs are expensive and the job can be quite time consuming, depending upon how many plugs break, glad I have a 2v- tmajikman

New Guy looking for some suggestions...
I know that there is a vacuum hose that comes off the intake that feeds the ac system, take a look at the ac heat controls and follow the line that feeds it. It could also bed a bad blend door as well, do a search on the blend door, its a common issue with fords of for the era.- tmajikman

I would get the freon vaccumed out, go to junkyarddog.com, get a used compressor, install it, recharge the system, recheck for leaks and let it ride. If you get the compressor replaced before it lets go then you won't need to replace other components in the system, if the compressor does let go...- tmajikman

Do you play in the mud alot? I have 203,000 on my 99 and so far I have only had to replace the alternator, I had an issue with no freon, but I may have caused that, I looked over every inch of the truck and can not find a leak (could be a leak behind the dash) But, all and all, my truck...- tmajikman

How to take Solenoid Pack apart???
You could mess something up badly if Ford or Borg Warner did some internal changes or tweaks to either the solenoid pack or trans computer.- tmajikman

I would do alot of research on a locker, if a locker acts like a posi you may want to rethink that in the snow, I really do not know anything about a locker, but I would not want the poor guy in the ditch, thats all.- tmajikman
