Thank you, that was exactly what it was, and I got it replaced yesterday. It took me around 20 or so minutes and removing the pedals helped out significantly.
Everything is back to working normally.
Thanks again.
That grey button there, my VW Jetta has something similar, and I would use a dime to turn it and the panel would come off. Maybe it is similar in this situation?
Had the expedition parked for a few months and just got around to driving it again last week. I noticed the slight ticking sound from just behind the gauge cluster (speedometer).
Yesterday I noticed the ac was only blowing through the defrost/floor vents but not the normal dash vents. The...
Ok, Readylift has been purchased!
Now I just need to find some time lol.... I'm sure it will look funny with my stock wheels/tires but I think I found a good deal on some 17in raptor wheels with K02 tires 315/70/17.
Will that tire fit ok with the 3/2 lift?
Thanks.
I did see the write up but I have already purchased the replacement parts for the air suspension. It was a hard choice but I am at peace with it now lol.
I did see those yesterday on fleabay! I will probably get those and install them when I install the new front and rear suspension. I'll have to ride on my current tires before I can justify new wheels and tires though. I have Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 275-65-18 that I got last year and they ride...
Good deal, I was just asking to see if anyone had any problems after installation or things I could see down the line as a result of the lift.
BTW, prices are all over the place from around 99$ to 400$ for what looks to be similar items. Some look like metal and other look like a kind of...
I went ahead and purchased a new set of rear struts/springs to replace my air suspension and also got some new front struts. Before I get on and install them I figured it be a good time to decide weather I should get one of these spacers/ 3/2 lifts they sell on amazon or ebay.
I have been...
I would do just that but I suspect one of the solenoids is going bad or a bag is leaky. If I don't drive the truck for a few days the rear is a few inches lower. I do like the air ride but I don't want to have a bigger headache to deal with in the future.
I was considering these for the front...
I decided on ditching the rear air and going with Arnotts rear conversion kit as it includes a module to eliminate the dash light for the air suspension.
I want to go ahead and replace the front struts as well and get this part over with. For the front should I stick with OEM ford struts or...
Just checking in,
As a test I turned off the air suspension since last week and the rear has not sagged at all (7 days)
Any comments appreciated :happy107:
Also, would their be a significant decrease in ride quality in going with this new suspension setup vs a repaired leveled air rear?
How much does the 3/2 lift spacers affect ride or handling?
Thanks again.

They also have this setup available for the front but I haven't read much about them. This also include the spring and are just a couple of more dollars each.
Hello all,
Ive searched and read several of the threads here and I think I am decided on doing the swap but I need some confirmations based on your experiences.
First off I have an 08 EL with 4WD. I noticed a while back that over bumps that back would really bounce. If I was on a long sweeping...
