the sun blinding off the shifter console...i thought it was just me...and the dash ac vent surrounds.
i have found that the sync system tends to do updates...often.
I know its done one as the ambient lighting gets turned off and the nav POIs come back on to show FOOD outlets

UPDATE: Now at about 6,000 miles, still liking this 2016. The driver's door misalignment continues to make me crazy, and sunlight bouncing off the super-shiny chrome shifter & surround in the console is blinding, but the only other real annoyance is the backup camera when shifting to Reverse. The camera always displays in the dash, but the alignment lines overlaid in the display only appear maybe 50% of the time, and almost never when I'm backing up to hitch up the horse trailer. The couple times the center line did show, it made hooking up the trailer a lot easier. Ah, well.

There is a setting in the SYNC Menu that allows you to turn on and off the alignment lines. Have you checked it out?

Thanks. Yep. Tried that. Turned them off, then back on, repeat, repeat. It's totally random when the alignment lines are overlaid on the video and when they aren't.
