So I've searched all over google and I can't find that any ford Truck or Expedition or Super Duty has a cancel button on the cruise control button cluster. I have a 2011 Expedition EL Limited 4x4 and absolutely love it but the one thing that absolutely dives me nuts is that I can't press cancel on the steering wheel to disengage the cruise control, I have to tap the brakes or hit off which forgets what the cruise control speed was set at. Seems like every other brand under the sun has a cancel button that disengages cruise and remembers your speed when you hit resume. Thanks!!

Adieu:

The top image is what an Expedition has (no cancel button on the left).

This is what a super duty has, I wonder if it would drop in? The upper left button says cancel / resume. The picture I cropped this from had the same Sync Navigation unit that my 2011 Expy has. I wonder if the wire harness in the steering wheel would have these extra pins for cancel and the directional arrows.

Wait what about the OFF button lol?
The off button forgets what speed you were going, so you need to turn it back on and then re-set CC speed. Tapping the brakes remembers you speed so you can hit resume but in heavy traffic can be obnoxious / not the best move.

My '17 has an On/Off toggle on the steering wheel. I believe my '07 did as well.

I find it annoying to have to turn cruise control On every time I drive. My Honda has a switch that turns it on or off too but it stays where it's put. Can't recall ever turning if off.

On my previous vehicles (2003 Chevy Venture, 2000 Ford Focus, 2006 Dodge Caravan, and 2015 Jeep Patriot) the on button also set speed to current speed. On the 2016 Expedition, 2017 F150, and 2018 F150 I have driven you have to do on then + or - to set the speed to the current speed.
