You sir, have a super human bladder.
Living in California, I find it much easier and faster to find some random farmer's field when nature calls. :p
My 2022 Expedition will be my last vehicle unless it gets totaled in a wreck. A friend of my wife bought a Jeep hybrid in Tampa this past weekend. Has a range of 25 miles on battery power. She paid a lot more money for the hybrid. There went a lot of extra money down the toilet. I just don’t understand these people buying these vehicles. I guess Im to old 69 to understand this generation No matter how I try.
I don't completely get the hybrid trend (I'm in my late 20s), but on those F-150s that hybrid 7.2kW ProPower on board is really awesome if you camp off grid a lot.

More power, better mpg, and silent running at low speeds. What's not to like? PHEV with 30+ mile range on electric can cover over 90% percent of driving for some people and running on electric is a fraction of gas when charging at home. Electric driving is over 3X more efficient, plus you retain all the capability of a non-hybrid. And, as you noted, for those of us with campers we can run them off the truck...no portable generator needed.

Hoping they expand it. Many of us on the F-150 14th gen forum have been begging Ford to make a hybrid version on the 5.0 V8 but they don’t seem to want to. It would be the perfect towing machine. The 5.0 is great on gas when towing, and the electric supplementation would add sufficient low end grunt to stay in lower gears and utilize the cylinder deactivation at low loads. I get that they are proud of their 3.5 EcoBoost, but even many current 3.5 PowerBoost owners have joined the call for a hybrid version of the V8 since the lower AFR’s are very attractive on the N/A engine. Fingers crossed they expand the hybrids to other configurations.

The PowerBoost is a great platform, cool to see the Expedition will have it as an option. The 3.5 EB and hybrid pair well together, and the utility of the inverter is huge.

I’d be all in if they made an Expedition like the 2025 Ramcharger with 140 mile battery range and an ICE generator for road trips/towing. A BEV is not going to be reasonable for cross country TT towing on family road trips.

I like what stellantis did with the ram charger too. I'm sure the wagoneer will get it on its mcr. A hybrid rid woth 26+ mpg and a better interior and air ride option will give me there business but the ram charger/new ram is by second option honestly, I love what they did to the exterior

I'm curious to see what the Ramcharger is going to cost. I would be surprised if it was any less than 80K for a Limited. If it works as advertised, the series hybrid powertrain would be an awesome addition to the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. It's like having your cake and eating it to. Seating for 8, all daily driving on electric, and road trips on electric + gas.

I would love the PHEV. I do a lot of local driving for work, but also tow, go cross country, and off road in my Expy. The PHEV would help to continue having an Expy as my 1-vehicle does it all. (This completely ignores how high the prices have climbed since I bought my 2017....)
