    Poll about 5.4l V8 and mileage

    325K miles on my 99 F150. It is a Triton V8, tow pkg, 2WD, automatic and the engine is going down hill, going thru a little over a quart of oil about every 3K miles. I can't complain too much as she's been a great truck. My biggest complaint is that over the years it has chewed up coil packs...

    V10 Swap

    Very interesting swap. We have a 99 F150(320K) and a 03 Expy (185K) on the odometers. Since they are both paid for we have been considering engine replacement options (especially for the F150). Thanks for another idea. Congrats on the hard work and engine swap.

    coil pack issues

    Just chiming in that I use Borg/Worner COPS. They have a life time warranty which is why I run them. So far no complaints.
