Go to Costco for the new battery... I did a lot of research last year when I needed one and found not only are they the cheapest, but they are the best and have a 3-year replacement policy that changes to prorated after the 3 years.
My HEAT usually takes a few minutes for the fan to kick in...
The reason I took it to the dealer is because I have an extended warranty. Amazing how nothing that goes wrong with my truck is ever covered by the warranty though.
Isn't it sad that you can't trust a Ford Dealer? Funny how their rep here on the forum is always quiet when I talk about this too...
I really couldn't tell you... I will tell you that I have zero trust for that dealer anymore. I also completely lost faith in Ford extended warranties. After being a loyal Ford customer (this is my 3rd Expedition) for 25 years, I really doubt I'll buy another one.
Maybe I'm not referring to the right parts, the spark plug "packs" on that side of the engine are what I had to replace. I really don't remember the back & forth with the dealer, but basically they said they had been ruined by soaking in the coolant.
I found the pinhole leak only because my...
Not only is the 3rd row more convenient in the Expy, it's also significantly more comfortable to sit in. I sat in both at the 2006 LA Auto Show and that was the decision maker for me.
Thanks for the tip! I still have about 6 months left on my extended warranty, is this something that the dealer may cover? If not, any idea what that procedure will run me?
Yes, I believe your system is working as designed. If you select rear heat from the main a/c controls in the front of the vehicle it will blow from the floor vents. I believe there is an option on the rear controls (back of the center console) to select floor or ceiling vents. Try that.
If you have an EL, you can go with this:
Car Audio - Stealthbox® - Lincoln - Navigator - Ford Expedition EL '07-Up
If not, you'll probably have to look for something that can go under the middle row, or have an audio shop build you something custom to replace the factory sub.
Thanks for the steps, I've taken off the door panels before to install speakers, but never had to remove the dust liner. How did you reattach it? Any problems with the lube streaking on the windows now?
I have leather and wish I had cloth. These seats look terrible with only 75,000 miles on the car and they don't even look like leather. Not to mention the side bolster on the driver's side is all mangled and squished.
Anyone have an idea how difficult this procedure is? Mine is still under warranty for about another year, but with a $100 deductible I haven't wanted to take it in just for that. They've already been repaired twice before and I only have 77,000 miles on my '07. So it'd be nice to know how to fix...
I don't know but I suspect it's the same as my Eddie Bauer and it sucks. Very prone to scratches and cuts that then drive me nuts every time I feel them.
This is my 3rd Expedition, but it's the first one I've had seat problems with. Mine is also a 2007 (Eddie Bauer EL) and I've had the seat rails replaced on both front seats more than once due to rocking during acceleration and braking. The seat heaters/ventilators have only worked for about a...
I have a 2007 Expedition EL Eddie Bauer with the shifter mounted on the center console. When I left for work last night I noticed that it was very clunky each step as I shifted from Park to Drive. It doesn't feel like the transmission is clunky, but the shifter itself. It also only does it when...
