    I was wondering how could I fix the temp gauge and also noticed that when I did have truck running for 3 to 5 minutes that the coolant doesn't move and top hose from radiator to intake didn't get hot.

    Ok, I tested number 1, 2, and 3. Number 1 and 3 sounds like its coming from oil filler but not much and when I unhook the air its got a lot of air built up like its not leaking and when I unhook number 3, no air comes out so its leaking in motor and that's the one that's letting air come out...

    Number 2 air coming out tb without being on tdc. I'm just putting air in without trying to put on tdc because it moves anyway and I have no one to help me. So what could it be? How can I tell if its a valve or head gasket?

    I just did number 1 had no way of keeping motor from turning so I let it turn and kept air going in and hear it coming out the oil filler neck.

    Do I need the leak down tester kit with a gauge or can I just use the compressor and the hose part of the compression kit that screws in the spark plug hole and how much air can I or do I need?

    How would I know if I got each one to TDC? What if I do number 1 and I hear air coming out somewhere, do I finish by checking others? Thanks

    I think I might have a blown head gasket or something in my 97 expedition and was wondering if I should change the gaskets and how hard is it to do so or change the whole motor and how hard is it to do that? What all do I need to do and how?

    Ok, I only did the compression test on the first 3 on pass side and first 2 on driver side. The 3 on pass side were low... 75, 74, 75. Driver side front 2 were 160 and 175. What could it be with that and plugs staying wet with gas, head gasket? What should I do next and can someone give me step...

    Ok I took a plug out of each side and on pass side its wet and smells like gas and driver side dry and kinda black so I know its burning/firing on that side. I don't have any clue what it could be but maybe bad rings, valves, or blown head gasket. What do you think?

    We got an expedition a couple months ago and trying to get it running right and fix its problems. The rear wiper arm is stuck up on the back window at the very bottom of it and was wondering how to take it off and how can I test to see if wiper motor any good? Thanks

    I see oily gas or something in the pass side exhaust. I guess I'll get someone to do a comp test for me one dy then maybe give up and sell the truck. Thanks for your help. I'll post back later
