    You can just set it to on, then on the side of the engine bay, you'll see the solenoid with the negative and positive terminals. You can jump them together by touching the 2 poles together with a wrench or screw driver.

    There are U-Joints on the front and rear driveshaft, neither of those should be causing your binding. Do you have over sized tires or different rims? More than likely front differential going bad. They SUCK in the AWD.

    I cut mine off after the cat on my 5.4 and it sounded MEAN. Window shaking, alarm setting off MEAN. If that gives you any inclination of how yours would sound, do it. **** a muffler.

    You more than likely pulled it from a vehicle that ISNT AWD. There is 2 different drive setups for these Expeditions.

    Its still responsive and tight so to speak its just not that normal super smooth power steering smoothness. it stead of being able to move it with one finger, I need to get a decent grip on it to move it. Feels much stiffer, if that helps. It doesnt feel like there is play.
