Chasing down a roar, all the usual suspects ruled out.

Just started: Low idle/misfire/stall on cold start
This just started happening on Tuesday. On cold starts (<10F), the engine will not idle steadily, is misfiring, and stalls. It will continue to do this until it warms up a little bit. It is behaving as if it is partially flooded, as I can smell raw fuel and revving the engine will eventually...- Hardline

Suspected failed stator clutch, possibly other trans issues
So, I suspect the stator one way clutch has failed in the torque converter on my 03 Expy, poor initial acceleration from a stop, poor fuel mileage, poor towing ability, and stall speed is out of spec low. 1250 RPM in D and 1, 1400 RPM in 2 and R. It also is exhibiting a flare on 4-3...- Hardline

Few problems with used 03 XLT
So far the problems I have noted and have yet to address are as follows Resonant hum that is related to driveline speed, notice it more in right turns, quieter going straight, near absent going left: suspect left front wheel hub vibration that starts at about 65, gets worse the faster I go...- Hardline
