    This was a great thread! My dealer snuck in a 5 year 100k esp for $3800 on me on our 2019 limited max with 34k. When I found it, I went back and had them refund me. Then I found this thread and got a $0 deductible 9-year, 140k with lighting and keys for $2900 from zeiglers, much happier with that!

All the interior lights will randomly come on while driving, and the only way to get them off is to hit the button that makes them not come on with the doors open. It doesn't happen every time...

    I don't believe they offered a backup camera option in 08, that started in 09. My rear view mirror auto dims when headlights are behind you, however, that feature turns off when you put it in reverse so you can see better, and that's the reason for a reverse wire at the mirror

    I like that! Mine doesn't have the mirror because of the sunroof, so I had to do the clip on rear view mirror with screen built in, but same idea!

    I have hooked up many cameras to after market units. Usually the hardest part is finding a trigger wore for the reverse.

    It is fixed, however, when you put a hitch in, you can actually see the ball with this one. The bumper is just barely out of view.

    Yeah, I thought about doing that too, I just didn't want to spend the money they wanted for the new emblem. Some day I may switch to that, but this works awesome for now.

    Thanks! I followed the wires from the hatch thru the grommets, then I just went behind all the plastic on the drivers side. There are several small parts that pop off easily and allow you to push and pull the whole way.

    Yes they are the plastic holders that the screw kind of pops into. Worse case you can drill it out and just get some new ones. I am usually able to get them out by using a flat head screwdriver to put some pressure on it, almost like you are prying the whole thing out
