does the whistling sound sound like an air sucking whistle?? or a rubbing, metal plastic abrasive whistle?? That will determine if it's the motor or not.. if it'
s an air sucking whistle then it's probably something else in the box, maybe even blocked. Since the start of AC season where I work...
So thats like $40 after tax for the rust-eeze, what else did you buy?? primer and all the fixins? new sprayer included in your spending? I would have to use my bros garage since the thing wont fit in mine lolll

So i got the under the coin tray screws, there's a couple screws in the back of the console i remvoed, and theres gotta be some i missed because it wouldnt budge so I gave...
see whats i mean? click that and zoom in a bit. Notice the wetness inside the tube and gummy mess on the sensor. Lots of arguing about this.... the people that know they suck just dont use them, and the people that spent $50+ on filters or cold air setups just get mad that someone said theyre...
NOW don't get me wrong... I used to love K&N filters, oiled filters... makes a big difference. But have you ever noticed that the oil in those filters is getting sucked into the intake tube and coating the MAF with filter oil? Well it is. And just a matter of miles does the MAF fail and send...
Check your wheel bearings too... jack the truck up and see if the wheel moves when you push against it. Play in the wheel bearing can cause your wheel to fall of while driving so check that asap! hum is very typical of that also, I think i have the intermittent IWE hum going on so I'm checking...
do you have air suspension? If you can't ID the shocks by looking at them open the access panel on the left of the luggage compartment in the rear and see if you have an "Air suspension off" rocker switch. If you only see the red button thats the fuel pump cut off and there will be the air ride...

if you put your vin# in the fordparts.com site, it should give you a list of parts filtered for your vehicle. Just watch foot notes on parts that have any multiple choices or options such as color or trim level but generally thats why the vin# is entered. Close enough to the electronic parts...
dealerships use anti-noise/rattle kits which contain just strips and rectangles of adhesive very thin felt and placed between contact points. works on any car.
on ebay they sell complete front suspenion fresh up kits with arms, bj's, tie rods, all kinda goodies. not too bad for the price for what it comes with but if you can find a boot repair kit then yea it's easier to do only that.
Jack stand her up, (or on a lift) and be sure to support the lower...
just to shed a little humor here -- your thread "no start" should have been called "i hope this vehicle was a free gift because holy *&%! it's going to cause me to go broke and lose everything trying to fix it"
jk -- good luck buddy.
I heard there's still a ton of brand new 0 mile SAAB's...
yea i mean by laws of physics it seems like a good idea. I've had k&ns and other brand intake setups in other vehicles and I do swear by it, always makes a huge difference. But The spacer is where I'm questioning if the hp/tq gain will be worth the $60 or if i should just spend $100-$200 and go...
