    Nah diesel oil is too thick and the tolerances on the bearings are not the same on a Diesel engine vs a gas. You will lock up a the engine. I care what it sounds like. It gets pretty damn loud.

    I would go with a 16-17 or go back to a Tahoe. The 5.4 has issues with the lifters and timing chains. It’s sounds like a diesel when you start it up. I like the 5.3 LS engine in the Tahoe and the eco boost is a mighty powerful power plant.

    Quick update on these lights. The license plate lights were already going out. Had to replace them with another set. They were flickering on and off and several LEDs within the bulb would not come on. Hopefully no other lights from this package go bad.
