Hi All,
Finally get to start a thread instead of lurk. This weekend I bought a 2000 Expedition after selling my 2000 F150. Its got 145k, 4x4, 5.4L, leather, rear air, 3rd row, Pioneer head unit, skidplates, limited slip rear, drilled and slotted rotors, navigator wheels, and 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks.
It needs some work- lean codes, driver door actuator, driver side tie rod, both front seats ripped( neoprene seat covers already on order) but I got a great deal. Going to do a full fluid and filter change this week and clean the maf to hopefully get rid of the lean codes. Then fix the issues and add speakers.
It was an air ride vehicle but the previous owner had a shop install the conversion to coils. Ill probably crank the torsion bars to level the nose and left to right but I know I wont get much out of the air ride torsion bars. It runs and drives like a much newer vehicle and I'm looking forward to cleaning her up and then getting her dirty.
