New to the forum and figured i'd share some of my recent experimenting w everyone. As stated, i have an 04 EB 4x4. Started out with a daystar 2.5/2 level, bilstein 4600s, pro comp 7005's 17x9 (BS: 4.75, OS: -6mm).

1st pic is obviously OEM

2nd pic: 1st tires i had were MT ATZ p3 305/65r17 (32.6x12.3) 63lbs each. Just weren't big enough :flamingdevil:

3rd pic: set were the same MT's in 315/70r17 (34.6x12.8) 68lbs each. Size wise i was happy but the had what appeared to be a molding defect with weird gouges in the sidewall of 3 of the tires. Plus on of them needed over 9.5oz and still wasn't balanced. Had lateral runout so returned them right away. These needed trimming on the bumper and running boards.

4th pic: current set: Toyo Open Country M/Ts 35x12.5 (34.8x13.2) 83lbs. needed only between 3.75 and 5.5oz to balance. No steering vibration and I've had them to 75. Very happy so far. needed additional trimming on bumper, running boards, and liner.

Next is N-Fab nerf steps in matte black, magnaflow, cold air, maybe bullbar and bug deflector. Let me know what you guys think and what ya think would look good. any tips are more than welcome!

Looks great! Pretty much the exact look I'm going for... I'm glad you like the 35 Toyos

Thanks man. Ill attach some split pics showing the OEM vs 35s, 305/65s vs 35s and lastly 315/70s vs 35s

Im also really digging the XD Heist rims. Eventually ill prob go to 18's or 20's in those after i ride on these for a while. I wonder if we can fit 10 inch wide rims?

I've seen a guy running a level with 22x12s for 10 wides could probably be ok depending on how much trimming miss you want to make and probably wouldn't be able to keep the 35s with 10 wides but you never know until you try!

Hey sorry haven't been on in a while. They ride great and actually balanced with much less weight than my previous MT atz p3s which were only 305/65s and were 20lbs less per tire. The atz's would start shaking around 60-70mph. the toyos have no shake what so ever. i would never buy a cheaper tire again i can tell you that. I would highly consider the nitto trails since they are owned by toyo, are cheaper and lighter 80 vs 83 lbs. Another tire i would consider is the toyo open country R/T. It's more of a hybrid mud/all terrain.

Awesome to hear... Have been considering the Toyos Mts like you very heavily but due to living in a semi-rural area I mainly drive highway and about 90% paved roads so I was leaning more towards a lighter mud terrain and one that may hold up better with highway driving... Jeep friends and forums have suggested the Goodyear MTR Kevlar with the a-symmetrical tread design... Seem to be a good little tire from what I've heard and if I square the trucks issues away I think I'll pull the trigger on the 315/70r17s but I still have yet to even get the lift on lol... Thanks for the update though man glad everything is working out well!
