I have an 06 expedition king ranch 4wd, that won't go in reverse. Ever gear works in drive though. I was wondering what this means, and how I could fix it or replace it without spending to much. I've seen transmissions online that are the same make and others either end with 70, or end with E instead of W, are these interswapable? Or should I find the exact match. Should I just get it rebuilt and fixed. Could I do the repair myself? I've worked on many vehicles and even some motors, but never a transmission because I thought it would be a hassle I never got right. Any help would be appreciated.
