Hello. I'm new here and hoping to be part of this group for a long time. My 06 XLT is having climate control issues at the front heater blower controls, resistor, or blower motor itself. Every speed but 4 stopped blowing about a year ago. About 4 months ago, the blower stopped all together. Common issues and/ or fixes?

Switch or blower. Time to break out a meter and test at blower connector.
Sounds like switch to Me and can be cleaned or replaced

My experience has been that when all HVAC fan speeds fail except full it's the resistor that failed. My guess is that it has entirely failed after a year of using it in a faulty state.

You should be able to test the switch by checking the wires at the resistor for current. The motor looks to be just a brushed/2 wire motor so testing that is easy. Connect 1 lead to power and the other to ground. If the motor turns it's good. That would turn the motor like it's set to full speed.
