'11 EL - 3rd row vent?

I've got a vent at the right rear of my '11 EL (right before the liftgate). Am I supposed to be getting any airflow out of there when the rear heat is on or is that simply ventilation for the auxiliary blower motor?

The vent is an air intake grill for the rear HVAC.

Correct it is the intake for the secondary HVAC system.
