2002 Expy interior trim and option questions...what do I have here?

Introducing myself for this forum

I just bought a 2002 Expy XLT however, the interior on this one is a little unsual from the other I've seen....first of all....there is no rear A/C nor rear A/c vents and then the front seats could seat 3 instead of 2 with the center console...it has 3rd row seat and only comes with cassette tape and radio only.

I got stole this car for only $2,800 from a disable kids organization, service records and runs strong for 150K.

So my question is: what do I have here? do I have a base car with no options at all other than 3rd row seating or does Ford have a fleet model that are different than the consumer model?

anyway, my other cars is a saab and I am a frequent member at Saab - 900, 9000, 9-3, 9-3SS, 9-2X and 9-5 : Saab Central the site for Saabs

I bought this "Pig" to tow and haul ...hehehe

anyway, any insights would be appreciated.

You have a base model with 2 row bench you can conver to buckets if you want.

just a no option XLT, rather common actually(atleast around here) some dont even have factory tint!

Aah...ok I actually like this one better cause of the bench front seat...it seats 8 instead of 7

that should be 9 instead of 8. you should have three seats in all rows = 9.

Yes it's 9 indeed...feels like having driving a bus...also anyone know how do I find out if I have the air suspension or not....I got to say the ride on this car feels soft and a bit bouncy....is it just because of old age and could use new shocks or it is what it is?

just check the front and rear .. the rear will have a bag looking thingy lol.. and the front will have what i call like a dispenser looking thing... it wont be a spring it will be enclosed ... If u have air ride TAKE IT OFF lol... I did with mine... hated it... to many problems with it...

Turns out mine doesn't have the air ride ....I don't see any dispenser thing on the front ...its the regular suspension just like other cars ...so I'm guessing the bouncy ride is just due to old age then ...could use new shocks?
