2003 Transmission clonk in overdrive downshift to 3.... Going up a grade... Pretty good bang! If I push overdrive button.. no bangs, runs perfect... Over 200000 miles
Bought this Expedition with 80000 miles 10 years ago.. this problem has been since the beginning for me.. tow a car trailer once in awhile... It's my snow monster truck up north.... Runs great except for the bang! I've been waiting for the transmission to blow up any day,, but it keeps on going , I just disengage the overdrive button when I'm going to climb a hill and no problem.. I'm new on the forum, hopefully someone has some insights.. thanks!
