Well, it's about time.

The new engine is about 2 years late, but better late than never.

Interesting that they are offering only one engine.

Makes sense from a production standpoint. The fewer possible equipment combinations, the lower the production costs.

I'm sure when the new 6.2L V8 comes out that will be offered on it, certinaly when the Extended expy comes out in 18 months or so... But yes for the '05 model year the 3V-5.4L will be the only option..
