2023 Tailgate issue

I've found that if I use the outside button and hold it in for a few seconds instead of pressing it and letting it go that it will go all the way up.

Mine had gone back to not working correctly. Just had service completed today and they applied the reprogramming SSM 51789 - 2022-2023 Expedition/Navigator - Power Liftgate Not Fully Opening When The Vehicle Is Locked - Built on or before 13-May-2023 and it seems to be working correctly now.

There is a fix for this. You can find the details in this tread SSM. Take it to the dealer and then will update module software. It fixed mine.
