4.6L P0301 code

Thanks for the replies. I have been trying to update the situation but this site would not except my log in information. Been trying since April 10 to get logged back in.

Replaced....
Fuel Filter
Coils
Plugs
Wires

Checked....
Injectors
rail pressure

This expedition has the aluminum intake, not plastic. Are the aluminum intakes prone to have problems as well?

I now get a popping noise on hills like the combustion is occaisionally happening between the exhaust manifold and the converter.

There are no visible signs of coolant leaks.

that code is a misfire on one of your cylnders, had the same code replaced plugs,wires, coil packs, and mine was number 7 missfire and replaced injector to. ended up being blown head gasket. so i just rebuilt her .
