I got this 2 years ago. A well-used Park Ranger special. I took the light assembly apart to lube everything, yet I've not plugged it in to the power port yet (don't have a hefty enough plug).

can you post of a pic on how its mounted? since we dont have an outside A pillar, did you drill a hole through the door frame?

I know on the Crown Vic's there is a slot cut on the door for the spot light to fit through. I wonder if it would be the same with the Expeditions? If you look close there is a slot in the door frame.

I tried finding some pictures of Expys with spot lights. So hopefully someone will have some they can post up with the door open before you do any cutting.

Sorry for the delay of pics. I'm hardly ever around the truck in daylight these days.

I did not do any of the install. As a former park ranger vehicle, it was done when new.
