I pulled the rest of the wood trim in my truck earlier this evening and itll be getting dropped off at the shop this morning. If anyone with a 3rd gen is following this thread and considering having this done, the door switch panels are surprisingly easy to remove. A hassle, but simple.
Welp... Here is the rest... they got it all done quicker than I expected. The skulls are a little much I think, but it got me the busy marble-ish style that I was going for and it helps pull the silver on the console and dash together a little bit better.
For anyone with a 3rd gen doing this... the only issues I had with anything fitting back together were the Aux input jack and the Cig lighter... the clear coat made the holes a little tighter and the extra depth on the aux jack doesn't allow the clips to grab so I've gotta come up with something there.
green marble would look good in my truck!!! i might have a hook up on this in MD...through car club member...how much did this cost you? i emailed a couple places online and never heard back
I'm family friend of a long time customer of theirs but it ran me just under 200 to have it all done w/ me removing everything myself. It isn't that hard to do yourself if you can't find anyone, the biggest thing is it typically costs just as much and having someone else do it is less time consuming.
i just realized your from south bend...my im originally from benton harbor...if things go right i should be there for the 4th (july)...i would rethink my interior if i was that close to someone...
If you're thinking about doing the marble, I know they don't have it in stock. They don't keep alot of films in stock from what I understand. But they have available to them any film from TWN Film Selection
