I have a 2003 4.6 with a broken chain guide. Been trying to research best replacement guides, oil pump, even to get and also thought I read to only get OEM tensioners? Any tips, parts, part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Trying to get stuff ordered ASAP
Motor has 120,000 and was running fine, wasn't making noise but I'm swapping from a wrecked to one with a bad motor and I decided to pull the cover off and found a few broken pieces in the oil pan. Glad I checked. Do I need to replace the cogs? Any info appreciated, preferred gaskets, experience to pass along... Thanks!
