I've got a 2002 Expedition with the 4.6 liter. Approx 94k miles
Around 60k miles I had the infamous "sputtering" when accelerating and after much research and $$ it was determined from Ford that it was a Coil On Plug.
Now the sputtering is back and getting worse. What are my options? Should I even think about trying this repair myself? (I've replaced plugs and wires before)....
What's the best way to diagnose? Should I just bite the bullet and replace all of them with hi performance aftermarket?
Is the coil separate from the wires? I heard often it's just the wires??
Thanks for letting me ask all these questions
