I spoke waaaay too soon a few weeks back, posting that my truck ran perfect, nothing had broken.......damn, that was at 97,000 miles when I replaced the original tires..............now I'm at 98,590 and my truck broke. SOB!

The spring on the console lid broke..........looks like a cast steel spring and it's a divotted hinge so there's no "repair" or simply replacing the spring. Fleabay: 46 bucks delivered, 4 minutes later....installed.

Truck still runs fantastic btw...it nearly made 100K without a single thing breaking, very close.
