I didn't want throw $$$ fix 4wd since I don't use them often. I drive way too many miles so I would like see improve mileage. It average 17-18 right now.
Problem start come from transfer case it stuck in 4wd mode so I remove driveshaft.
But I notice that front diff's axle shaft bearing are shot so it vibration at 75 mph
I was wonder if I can remove front diff and drive without them.
Is it ok to saw off CV shaft's end hub so it stay in the wheel bearing to support it?
