Door Ajar light works in opposite

My friends 2004 Expedition has a curious problem.

The door ajar light is typically on, unless one particular door is opened, then it goes off as long as that door is opened.

Any ideas?

the switch on the door jam for the door with the issue may have been switch out for a normely opened (NO) contact instead of a normaly closed (NC) contact. on some contacts you can change them to NC or NO by swithing a wire.
